Waikato Diocesan School for Girls is an integrated Anglican day and boarding school with approximately 670 students.  The school is committed to personal excellence with a strong emphasis on pastoral care.  We have built an enviable reputation for outstanding academic, cultural and sporting performance and achievement.

Reporting to the Dean of Boarding, we are looking for an energetic and caring person to work in the friendly family environment of our Boarding establishment.  Nurturing our girls and helping them to reach their full potential is the key focus of this role.  We are looking for a qualified teacher as there is potential to teach as well.

Key responsibilities for this role include ensuring students are cared for physically, emotionally and spiritually.  This role oversees the day-to-day operation of the boarding house, ensuring the girls’ boarding experience is positive and conducive to their learning and development.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills with the ability to foster positive harmonious relationships with girls and families. Previous experience in a school or boarding facility would be highly desirable. Commitment to the school’s special character is essential.
